Join a work party today!
We host work parties on the second Saturday of each month that are open to everyone!

We host monthly beginner friendly weekend work parties that rotate between Lord Hill Regional Park hosted on odd months(January, March, etc.) and Reiter Foothills State Forest hosted on even months(February, April, etc.) so you can dig where you ride. Whether this is your first work party or your 100th, there's always something for everyone!

While the monthly weekend work parties are a great way to plan ahead and have fun with the larger community, we also stay busy in-between. Check on social and the event calendar to stay updated and learn more about work partys and other events.

Reiter Foothills: Medusa Workparty(Come & Go)

Thursday, 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM

We'll be working near the bottom of Medusa to clean up the turnpike section after the last rock roll, This section got built up to cross a wet section of trial, but it still needs some more dirt to fill in-between the gravel and help with traction. This is a Come & Go Workparty. Meet on the trail any time after the start time and stay for however long works for you. We'll have tools and someone experienced on the trail during the event times so all you need is some work gloves and layers to stay comfortable for the days weather! Bikes recommended!

Reiter Foothills Monthly Dig

Saturday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

This is our monthly Saturday workparty which will be at Reiter Foothills. We'll spend the day making some improvements on Boogeyman, but the specifics will depend on the dirt conditions for the day. We will likely either be working features if there is enough moisture or installing culverts in areas that are chronically wet over winter. We'll meet at the 429th parking lot(no parking pass required) and then drive or carpool down the road and through the gated forest road towards the trails. RSVP through social events or an email(contact at skyvalleymtb.org) is preferred to help get a headcount for tools. We'll have tools for everyone RSVP'd plus a few extra just in case, so only work gloves, food, water and yourself are needed!

What to Bring

Bring a pair of work gloves and some sturdy footwear along with enough food and water to keep you fueled for the day. We'll have enough tools to pass around, but you're always welcomed to bring your favorite if you have one.

What to Expect

Once we pass out tools and go over the basics, we'll hike our way over to the trail and get everyone setup for a day of trailwork! Expect a 3-5 hour day depending on the weather and everyone's mood.
