Whether you're mountain biking, hitting the ORV park or flashing bouldering routes, the rugged and rocky terrain of Reiter Foothills brings out many with an enthusiasm for the gnar! Located on state trust lands on the outskirts of Gold Bar, Reiter Foothills has both a non-motorized zone bordering Wallace Falls State Park and a motorized zone further down the road towards Index.
The mountain biking trail system ,which is still in its infancy, offers two short purpose built descent trails that can be directly accessed from the county park trailhead off of 429th SE. Medusa features a more raw and rocky techy descent while Boogeyman is for the flow enthusiasts. A viewpoint loop which borders the rocky cliffs of Reiter is a perfect way to warm up or cooldown on any ride.
