Oct 5 , 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
We'll be rerouting a short and steep eroded section of trail at West View Loop's north exit. This is a multi day project and specifics for this day are dependent on what gets done on prior days. Either way, we'll be working with hand tools to help grade the trail for drainage and sustainability. No experience is needed and everyone can take things at their own pace!
We'll meet at 9:00AM at the barn located near the general use parking lot at the park's north entrance. Tools are provided, but be sure to bring some work gloves and enough food and water for the day as we'll be hiking in and out from the trailhead for the day.
Registration is required through Snohomish County's Volunteer Portal. The event can be found using the following link: https://cerv.is/0282gacBpW8
Oct 11 , 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Cancelled due to heavy rains, but we'll be back out there soon enough!
Oct 13 , 2:00 PM - 6:30 PM
We'll meet at 2:00PM at the barn located near the general use parking lot at the park's north entrance. Tools are provided, but be sure to bring some work gloves and enough food and water for the day as we'll be hiking in and out from the trailhead for the day. If you would like to join for only a portion, it is possible to meet on the trail and/or head out early, but reach out and let us know when registering so we can arrange extra tools and not wait up at the trailhead. The rain has returned and dirt work is on! We'll be working near the bottom of Medusa after the last rock roll to do some dirt work on the last set of berms. This is a Come & Go Workparty. Meet on the trail any time after the start time and stay for however long works for you. We'll have tools and someone experienced on the trail during the event times so all you need is some work gloves and layers to stay comfortable for the days weather! Bikes recommended!
