Dec 5 , 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM
We'll spend the day on upper half of Goldeneye restoring one of the old berms on the upper section of trail that has worn down over the years. The focus will be on restoring the inslope for better drainage and rider support throughout the turn. We'll meet at the barn that is located at the park's north entrance next to the general use parking and head in shortly after. No experience is needed and tools are provided! Work gloves are recommended along with a head lamp in case of emergency, but we will have spares! We can drive tools into the trails but have limited seats so bikes are always recommended to get in and out, but legs always work!Registration is required through Snohomish County's Volunteer Portal. The event can be found using the following link: https://cerv.is/0282gmgbCSg

We'll spend the day doing storm cleanup on Boogeyman at Reiter Foothills Forest with the focus being on cleaning up blowdowns and storm debris. There is tons more to do than just running chainsaws to get the trails back in shape(leaf blowing, clearing limbs, etc.) that we could use help on, but need to prepare for.To join, please RSVP on social or reach out using any of the contact info listed on the website so we can make sure there's something safe for everyone to do and that we have tools for everyone as we're working away from our tool cache. We will meet at the Manke Gate(Gold Bar Bouldering Parking Area area on Google Maps) located off of Reiter Rd for 2:00PM to drive in. It is possible to park at the 429th parking lot and meet on the trail past the start time, but please RSVP so we can have tools ready.
Dec 14 , 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
We will be working in the forested section of Boogeyman to repair trail damage from the bomb cyclone last month. This is our monthly Saturday workparty for December which will be at Reiter Foothills. We're working on getting Boogeyman all tuned up over at Reiter Foothills. The focus is mostly on getting the trail and lined up just right and building new features although the specifics will depend on the weather. This is a Come & Go Workparty with no RSVP needed. Meet on the trail any time after the start time and stay for however long works for you. We'll have tools and someone experienced on the trail during the event times so all you need is some work gloves and layers to stay comfortable for the days weather!
